Stepping Into The Journey

In wrestling with the question of “to blog or not to blog” I’ve been more aware of all the noise around us already. Some resources of great value and some, not so much. My feeds, and I’m sure yours, can be overloaded daily with click bate, top ten lists, the five things you need to do before 5 AM to be a success. The one thing I don’t want to offer is another clanging cymbal in the night.

A conversation, I believe, worth having is one around how we are showing up in our world – as entrepreneurs, as leaders, as humans. How do we have real conversations about those struggles, about the behind the scenes mishaps, about the redemptive moves we can take to get solidly back on our feet and back in the game?

Conversations of transition and transformation.

Conversations of transcendence.

How do we walk as entrepreneurs and leaders into what Parker Palmer describes as our deepest calling, “to grow into our own authentic self-hood… and find our path of authentic service in the world?” How do these questions play out within the context of entrepreneurship? Within the context of leadership?

These are the conversations I’m interested in exploring and what my coaching practice, TrueForm Leadership, is about. If this jazzes you up, too, then I imagine these Notes For The Journey might become a beneficial resource for you.

For my clients, accountability is a value they embrace about our work together. When you are an entrepreneur, there are usually few who care if you are eating your broccoli, taking care of yourself, doing the important things to move you and your business forward. Care is a huge component of our coaching work.

If you grow to care about this space overtime, then I’m going to ask you to hold me accountable, too. If you ever find me promoting the five steps to achieve “this” or the ten top reasons you should do “that” – call me on it.

Deal?

Looking forward to the journey with you!
